The adhesive Granato is a structural, translucent element, designed especially to unite our sheets and accessories, its basic components allow to create totally imperceptible, strong and very durable unions. It presents stability to the ultraviolet rays, resistance to humidity and solvents. It only requires the catalyst addition.

PRESENTATION
It is composed by an adhesive container (A) 250gr - 1.OOOgr - 5.OOOgr, catalyst (B), tablespoon 2Ogr and a wooden palette.

CHARACTERISTICS
Easy application with spatula, it should be applied to a temperature between 18 and 27ºC; the temperatures below 18ºC slow the cure and above 27ºC the cure speed is increased.
Owe to it’s tixotrophy, (creamy consistency), it is applicable in horizontal and vertical surfaces. This allowing it's manipulation during 10 to 12 minutes aproximately before gelation.
The resistance and durability of the unions depends on factors like: Status of the surfaces to unite, union line thickness , union design , nature of the effort applied and the environmental conditions.

WAY TO USE
Adhesive Preparation:

To assure the maximum resistance of the union, enough quantity of adhesive should be used to fill completely the area of the parts to unite. Determine the right quantity of adhesive to prepare ( the material that is not used will get lost. After 1O or 12 min.).
To determine the quantities of adhesive and catalyst to use, the annexed chart should be checked , since these vary according to the temperature of the city to work..
In a plastic or waxed glass mix the adhesive (A) and the catalyst (B) with the wooden palette during one minute until the mixture is homogeneous. Pour in the place assuring that the mixture stands out of the surface level and proceed to unite the pieces.

Catalyst Dosage according to the ambient temperature, base tablespoon of 20gr..

Temperature Adhesive Catalytic  Time gel
15oC 20gr 30 drops 15 min.
20oC 20gr 20 drops 11 min.
25oC 20gr 15 drops 9 min.

Edge essemblies surfaces preparation:
For a resistant union, it is recommended to generate ruggedness by mechanical methods to the parts to unite (sand paper grain 80), clean the powder caused by the process with alcohol or oil free solvent (don't use thinner neither varsol), let it dry off and proceed to unite the pieces. After uniting the parts the adhesive excess should be removed with an object that doesn't scratch the surface, to adjust the piece with pressure pincers and wait..
When it has hardened totally (one hour), sand and polish the union with sandpaper # 220, followed by sandpaper #400

Badges union surface preparation:
Once carried out the mirror cut, the parts to unite should be cleaned with a solvent or alcohol, oil free (don't use thinner neither varsol), let it dry off and proceed to apply the adhesive in a homogeneous way in both parts, unite by a pressing process , it is recommended to only retire the adhesive excesses on the union when it is perfectly cured, one hour approximately (the fingernail should not enter). Continue with the sanding and polishing process.Once carried out the mirror cut, the parts to unite should be cleaned with a solvent or alcohol, oil free (don't use thinner neither varsol), let it dry off and proceed to apply the adhesive in a homogeneous way in both parts, unite by a pressing process , it is recommended to only retire the adhesive excesses on the union when it is perfectly cured, one hour approximately (the fingernail should not enter). HANDLING AND STORAGE
It is a product classified as inflammable and therefore, it should stay away from ignition sources, sparks or open flames. It should be stored indoors, in ventilated areas and in a temperature inferior to 20ºC to guarantee the maximum stability. For it's manipulation it is recommended to use of gloves, smock and security glasses. It is a product classified as inflammable and therefore, it should stay away from ignition sources, sparks or open flames.
